New Product Launch: Bella’s Mushroom Ravioli!
New product launch: Bella’s Mushroom Ravioli!
Bella Italia, a welcoming Italian restaurant in the picturesque town of Port Angeles, WA, (outside Forks) is now making its most famous meal – Bella’s Mushroom Ravioli – available as a high quality, all natural frozen entrée. The friendly restaurant, along with its signature dish, shot to fame in 2005 when it was featured as the first date setting for author Stephenie Meyer’s notorious love struck vampires, Bella and Edward.
Bella herself ordered the now-famous mushroom dish as her entrée of choice. Since then, guests have flocked to the restaurant from around the globe to dine on the ravioli, and now anyone will be able to enjoy an authentic “bite” at home.
In keeping with the legend, most Twi-Hards cook mushroom ravioli for their in-home Twilight parties and now they can order the exact dish Bella Swan ate herself straight from the restaurant. The new frozen entree is made from fresh, all natural ingredients and heat-and-eat ready. The 20-ounce entrée features mushroom ravioli in a creamy besciamella sauce with rich mushrooms.
Bella’s Mushroom Ravioli ($10.99 MSRP) will be available for retail distribution in November 2011, just in time for the much anticipated release of the fourth Twilight movie installment. The product will be available at select retail outlets nationwide, and sold direct to consumer online at bellaitaliapa.com.
(The Twilight Saga’s Tinsel Korey is reportedly already a fan and has ordered a few boxes of Bella’s Mushroom Ravioli and loves it!)

Bella Italia’s Famous Mushroom Ravioli Now Available as a Ready-to-Heat Frozen Entrée
Popular Pacific Northwest restaurant launches freezer version of iconic pasta dish featured in vampire phenom; visitors have come from around the world to enjoy a “bite”
Port Angeles, Wash. – November 3, 2011 – Bella Italia, a welcoming Italian restaurant in the picturesque town of Port Angeles, WA, today announced it is making its most famous meal – Bella’s Mushroom Ravioli(tm) – available as a high quality frozen entrée. The friendly restaurant, along with its signature dish, shot to fame in 2005 when it was featured as the first date setting for author Stephenie Meyer’s notorious love struck vampires, Bella and Edward. Since then, guests have flocked to the restaurant from around the globe to dine on the ravioli, and now anyone will be able to enjoy an authentic “bite” at home.
“When Stephanie Meyer was working on her first book, she called our restaurant to ask about menu items, and we were running mushroom ravioli as our special,” said Neil Conklin, owner of Bella Italia, located on Washington State’s Olympic Peninsula where the vampire book series is set.”That dish is what made it into the book, as Bella orders it on their first date. Ever since then, we’ve had travelers from all over the world. We’ve served more than 10,000 of these iconic pasta plates in the restaurant, and I wanted to make it available to everyone.”
Vampires aside, Bella’s Mushroom Ravioli(tm) is made with the love and tradition of all Bella Italia’s food. The new frozen entree is made from fresh, all natural ingredients and heat-and-eat ready. The 20-ounce entrée generously serves two and features mushroom ravioli in a creamy besciamella sauce with rich mushrooms. Each entrée will be available in convenient plastic microwaveable containers, which can be heated in the microwave or oven.
Bella’s Mushroom Ravioli ($10.99 MSRP) will be available for purchase in early November 2011, just in time for the much anticipated release of the fourth vampire movie installment. The product will be sold at select grocery retailers nationwide and direct to consumer online at www.bellaitaliapa.com.
Notably, a portion of all Bella’s Mushroom Ravioli(tm) proceeds will benefit the Quileute Tribal School and Forks High School. “Every ravioli dish sold will help two local schools I am proud to say I support. The teachers have done so much for our community, building a positive place for children to learn and grow,” says Conklin.
Bella Italia plans to offer additional frozen entrées down the road – all meals will feature the restaurant’s most popular dishes and showcase Italian fare inspired by Pacific Northwest ingredients and cuisine. Additional details are available online at www.bellaitaliapa.com.

Jackson Rathbone Talks Bella’s ‘Breaking Dawn’ Makeup: “I Felt Really Bad”
E! Online caught up with Jackson Rathbone at the Teen Vogue Young Hollywood Party where he chatted about Bella’s pregnancy makeup on the Breaking Dawn movie set:
“There was one time when I got to set and she had some kind of makeup on to make her look…really tired,” Jackson Rathbone told us at Teen Vogue‘s Young Hollywood party at Paramount Studios in Hollywood. “I felt really bad. I was like, ‘What happened to her? Is she alright?’ She was like, ‘Dude, come on. It’s makeup.’ I was like, ‘OK cool, because I was really worried.’ Honestly, I was like, she must have had three weekends in Vegas.”
Fortunately, the look didn’t carry over to the big wedding scene with Edward Cullen.
“We had to keep telling ourselves it was fake,” Rathbone said . “We’ve been watching this relationship develop and even though we’re playing the parts and at the end of the day we wash off that white face makeup and peel back the wigs that we’re wearing, when we were there at the wedding scene, all of us felt it. She just walked out, everybody was quiet. Your heart would skip a beat, you get kind of teary-eyed.”
Here’s a video with a short clip of Jackson at the start talking about why it’s good to be young in Hollywood. I love his honesty!
