It’s always a good interview when Robert Pattinson sits down with Ellen! Here’s a preview of his brand new interview with her, as well as the first still!
What we wouldn’t give to have been on set THAT day!
Robert Pattinson continues his press tour for Water for Elephants by stopping by The Ellen DeGeneres Show airing Wednesday, to discuss his, um, unmentionables.
The Twilight star revealed to Ellen DeGeneres that he had a wardrobe malfunction — in a pair of Ellen-branded undies! RPattz explained he was down to his last pair of underwear, and chose to wear a pair Ellen had recently given him on set.
He told the talk show host, “I only had one pair left and they were those ones (“Ellen” underwear). We were doing this big fight screen and for some reason I think the shape of my body, my back is too long or something. So my a** is constantly hanging out!”
He added, “Every single shot we were doing this big fight and every shot has these Ellen underpants. It came to a point where producers are calling up my agent going, ‘I don’t know what he is up to but I don’t like it!’”
Ellen rewarded him with a gift of (what else?) a basket full of Ellen underwear! The full episode airs Wednesday, April 20th.

Robert Pattinson: A Fan Took Her Clothes Off for Me
Want to know how to gets Rob’s attention? One ROBsesser found out by asking him, and ended up getting dragged out by security. Why? People Magazine reveals some tidbits from Rob’s interview with Ellen Degeneres, airing Friday:
It happened “after a period of signing 500 signatures,” the New Moon heartthrob tells Ellen DeGeneres on her show airing Friday.
“You kind of get 10 seconds with each person and you never really say anything and I kind of got bored of saying, ‘Hey, how are you doing?’” Pattinson tells the talk show host. “[A fan] said in her 10 seconds, ‘What can I do to get your attention?’ I was like um, just take your clothes off.”
The fan’s reaction? “She stood there and frantically started taking her clothes off and got dragged out of the room by security,” says Pattinson. “I never felt more terrible.”
As for his own body-baring role in New Moon, Pattinson, 23, says, “This is the first time I’ve ever been proud my physical appearance in my entire life.”
But the star, who hit the gym often to get in shape to play vampire Edward Cullen, is shy about going in the buff for another role. Asked if he’d get naked onscreen, he says, “Ah … maybe, I don’t know. Maybe. It’s definitely a risk.”
